My Story

Josephine E. Wanjema is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), dedicated provider, and owner of SWAZA AFH, LLC—an adult family home and home care service based in Napavine, WA. With over five years of experience in detox and mental health nursing, Josephine is known for her compassionate, hands-on approach to care. Her work is driven by a genuine passion for supporting individuals through some of life’s most vulnerable moments.

In addition to her work in the U.S., Josephine is also the founder of Inaya Nursing and Maternity Home, a Level 3 hospital located in Kakamega, Kenya. Licensed for 30 beds, Inaya Nursing Home has become a vital pillar in the local community, providing essential care to elderly individuals and expectant mothers who previously had to travel long distances for treatment. Beyond healthcare, the facility also plays a key social role by supporting vulnerable school-going children through scholarships that cover school fees, uniforms, and supplies.
